I dont think i said ALL unions are bad (i thought i wrote that clarification, but i dont remember now so could be wrong). And I by no means wish to defend all big corporations. I am simply being argumentative, even though i do agree that i am a bit anti-union (on a certain level).

i would have thought you knew me by now and my philosophy that arguing for the sake of arguing can be a form of entertainment. and using hyperbolic statements is just a fun way to ratchet up the fun factor a bit.

anyways.......

I won't try to reason with JOTS because it's like trying to screw a tadpole but be sure to bring up the fact that labor unions (which I was once part of) were created before labor laws were created to address the grievances brought by said union.

Child labor, overtime, etc... all protected by law now. So now they hold employers hostage and ship jobs overseas...

Just like civil rights movement, it was valid before CIVIL RIGHTS LAWS? Get it? You cannot lynch a black person anymore, you go to jail for murder, get it? You cannot discriminate against someone (unless they are a white male) you will get sued. The laws were created thanks to the original good intentions of these movements that like everything else has turned into a business, then a racket.

Women's suffrage movement is no longer needed so why are these other leeches still extorting us? They need this strife to be in business. If they did their jobs they would eliminate the need for themselves... oh wait that already happened.

Boycott the unions, boycott these fools who exploint the worst side of humanity for their own gains.

If they cannot "get it" and listen to reason, we may have to create a new country. I have tried to reason with people on this but they do not listen. They just call you racist and say bush was hitler and other empty talking points.

Who needs them?

PS we were all agreeing for awhile before he went off the deepend and started with personal insults so I will never directly address him again. If he is an old fart, he sure acts like a child.

Actually if you look at right to work State law you might find that not everything is as protected as you think. And some of the jobs sold overseas are non union jobs because it's easier. I didn't make any personal attacks either, Dire called me Niave and I stated my opion that I thought that he was.

I'm glad you're not going to respond to me. I'll do the same.

Perhaps I was a bit harsh, I will take back my childish comment about you being childish... two wrongs don't make a right.

I live in a right to work state, there are low corporate taxes and little union representation. That is why companies come to Florida, aside from the tax advantages.

Funny, we have no state income tax, few unions, few tollbooths, and even with lots of illegal immigrants; we are still somehow able to be less broke than CA.

funny our two States have a lot in common. Except my State has oil revenue and recieves a ton of Federal money. I don't think it has anything to do with our labor laws in our case why we're so far escaping this mess.

I'm glad we're being civil.

"They need this strife to be in business."

you could not be more correct in that assessment NC. it should be self-evident, and i could not have said it more succinctly myself.

I trust my onw opinions and I can also change opinions when I think it is relevent to do so . After all no one is perfect knowing it all on all subjects otherwise thy'd be nothing new to learn about, yes ?
